Webinar: 20025 Cyber Threat Trends Observed by Fortian's SOC

2 March 2026

On Thursday 19 March at 10am, Fortian will be hosting a webinar exploring the key findings from our 2025 Security Operations Centre report, which examines the most material cyber threat trends affecting Australian organisations over the past year.

The session will be delivered by Philip Roberts, one of Fortian’s Security Analysts, who has been directly involved in detecting, investigating, and responding to many of the incidents reflected in this year’s report. Drawing on real-world activity observed across our SOC, Phil will walk through how attacker techniques evolved throughout 2025 and what those changes mean for enterprise security strategy heading into 2026.

The webinar will cover:

  • The resurgence of infostealer-driven identity compromise
  • Data theft through poorly governed SaaS platforms
  • Defence evasion using residential IP proxying and trusted infrastructure
  • The emergence of browser-native and Living-off-the-Browser attacks
  • The growing influence of AI across both attacker and enterprise environments

Rather than focusing on theory or headline-driven threats, the session will examine practical examples of attacker behaviour observed in operational environments and most importantly outline defensive priorities organisations should consider strengthening in response.

This webinar is intended for security leaders, risk professionals, technology executives, and practitioners seeking a grounded view of how the threat landscape is shifting in practice.
