Fortian is proud to sponsor the CSA Australia Summit 2026, a full-day event run by the Australia chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance. On Friday 20 November, cloud security practitioners, researchers and leaders will gather in Brisbane for a day of talks, conversation and connection.

What's on the programme

The speakers come from both universities and industry, which gives the day a mix of fresh research and hard-won practical experience. Sessions cover:

• A framework for attributing agentic AI activity on endpoints, and detecting attacks that AI initiates
• How to check whether media has been manipulated, explained for non-experts
• Real lessons from rolling out cloud security posture management (CSPM) tooling
• Striking the right balance between AI automation and human judgement in cyber defence
• Building secure foundations for enterprise AI
• Catching crypto scam sites before the first victim pays

AI runs through much of the agenda, from how attackers use it to how defenders can adopt it safely. Alongside it are the everyday cloud security challenges that teams deal with every week.

Who should attend

The summit suits CISOs, security architects, cloud engineers, DevSecOps teams and anyone else working in cloud security. Whether you set strategy or ship code, you'll find sessions that speak to your work.

The event is run by volunteers, and tickets are kept low-cost so as many people as possible can attend. Every ticket includes welcome tea and coffee, lunch, and networking drinks after the programme.
